Gas Bicycle Project

18 April: Change is inevitable.  I like to customize the bike as much as I can.  I ordered an expansion chamber from Sick Bike Parts.  Got it a couple of days ago along with a high performance spark plug wire.  As far as coolness factor goes this is one really cool add on. The pipe is supposed to go on the left side of the bike and sweep down.  My kickstand sort of gets in the way of doing this.  So I got some assistance from Ghost0 at SBP on how to change the make up so it goes on the left.(See discussion on Motorbikes.Com)  I just needed to add another 45 degree elbow.  It makes the bike look a bit like a motorcycle.  I hope I don't end up burning my leg with the placement of the pipe.  

I also ordered yet anotther tail light.  This one with signals and a brake light.  I got it from Deal Extreme, it came DOA.  All of the lights work except the headlight, which I really do not care about, but I can't do anything with it until I find out if I have to ship it back to get a replacement. I got mounting brackets for my current headlights, two serengeti LED flashlights, to replace the double hose clamps that I have been using.  Fortunately, they came without any damage.

10 May:  Can you believe I am still waiting for the replacement lights?  They might ship tomorrow.  Well at least knowing they are shipping a replacement I can deconstruct the one I have that doesn't work right.
