It just all seems to add up. I suppose you can
consider that this is the second life for this engine. I used
it before so maybe I could discount it to something like a $120.
12 July: I was just about done with the bike when Barbara, who I met at Ace Hardware wanted a bike. We talked about turning her bike into a motorized bike. She has a beatuiful Electra, but to add a motor and really make it nice would have been big bucks. I searched around for parts that would work, Motor, forks, brakes, shift kit it would all just add up to too much money. We talked about my Skyliner as well, but it is too tall for her. I told her I would look for something and she started looking as well. She calls me over to see a bike a guy has. He wants $350. They can't get it started. I take a look and figure out how to get it started, take it for a spin to see whats up with it overall. $350 is too much given that it did not start before I got there, there were some issues with the bike but overall it is an okay bike with a little work. Barb buys the bike for $240 and get some parts she wants on it. She asks me to fix it up and to take my time.
